About us

Beanstem is a project created in 2024 by Ben Rankin to spread awareness and excitement about the world around us.

We’re fascinated by bugs and fungus and why the sky changes colors and how everything is affects everything else… And most importantly, we want to share that excitement with anyone who will listen!

BeanStem creates fun, engaging, and thoughtful educational videos about science, technology, and nature aimed at adult and young adult audiences. We want you to feel a little smarter after every video - but more importantly, we want you to walk away with a greater appreciation for all the people, animals, plants, rocks, and more that make the world the way that it is!
